Safeguarding Policy

tb.care is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) committed to protecting the safety and wellbeing of everyone who interacts with our charity. We believe that no one should ever experience abuse or harm, and we take our responsibility to promote the welfare of all individuals, including vulnerable adults and children, seriously.

This policy applies to all trustees, volunteers, and anyone acting on behalf of our organisation. Every person representing our charity has a duty to report any concerns they have regarding the safety of an individual. We ensure that our team understands these responsibilities and knows how to identify and report potential safeguarding issues.

Jonathan Servello, Founder and Trustee, is the designated safeguarding lead for tb.care. He is responsible for ensuring that our policies remain effective and that we comply with the expectations set by the Charity Commission for England and Wales.

If you have a safeguarding concern or suspect that someone is at risk of harm, you must report it immediately by contacting Jonathan Servello directly at jon@tb.care. You can also use our website contact form to submit a confidential report.

When a concern is raised, the safeguarding lead will review the information promptly and confidentially. We will take all necessary steps to ensure the safety of the individual, which may include sharing information with local authorities, social services, or the police if we believe someone is at immediate risk. We manage all safeguarding information securely and in strict compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).
